Shape the Cube Consultants (STC) began in 2010 but it was officially launched in 2012. The company’s name Shape the Cube is the result of the team's experience in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean where buildings give the presence of square boxes with windows and doors cut out of them. In critiquing what we saw, we developed a better appreciation of the resources, time and financial constraints that some projects face. With further evaluation, we decided that we could take these same buildings, with all their limitations, and make these projects more architectural and sustainable. Hence, Shape the Cube seeks to manipulate a cube to make it far more than a box.
